THE HONOR PROJECT
Mission: Founded by Edward G. McDonnell in 2014, The Honor Project Inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization created for the purpose of giving grants to improve communities and empower citizens. The current focus of the organization is providing grants to community members seeking to purchase affordable housing. All contributions made to The Honor Project are 100% tax-deductible to the full extent allowable by law.
History: The Honor Project has collectively donated over $113,000 to various non-profit organizations and/or their designated charitable foundations to include: the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, the South Carolina Special Olympics, Columbia Emergency Medical Services, the South Carolina EMS Memorial Bike Ride, the Columbia Fire Department, the Columbia Fire Families Association, the Columbia Police Department, the Columbia Police Foundation, Palmetto Health Foundation, Camp Cole, SC Law Officers Association, and the Children's Miracle Network.
